| FREE California Friendly Gardening Class on March 13th |

Efficient Irrigation Systems will be the topic for a free California Friendly Gardening Class scheduled for Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 8:30 a.m.-12 noon at Monte Vista Water District. A professional landscape professional will discuss sprinkler system maintenance, choosing the appropriate sprinkler and drip irrigation. Continental breakfast available. Door prizes, information on water conservation and free gardening CD. Limited to 30 attendees. RSVP required. Call (909) 267-2165.

| Board Establishes New Water Rates |
On January 27, 2009, the Monte Vista Water District Board of Directors adopted Resolution 641-10 (click PDF link below) establishing new water rates, including a water budget-based tiered rate structure for single-family residential customers. The new rates will go into effect on April 1, 2010.
A special section of the District's website has been developed to provide information on the new water rates. The website section includes detailed information on the new budget-based tiered rate structure for single-family residential customers, rate schedules for all District customers, and answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

Online Bill Pay is now available to Monte Vista Water District customers!
